Felicity is a 41-metre liveaboard built in 2021, with 13 cabins for up to 26 guests. Seven state cabins on the lower deck take either twin beds or a double, and six sea-view doubles are spread over the main and upper decks. The crew-to-guest ratio is close to one to one, which you notice in the service. Inside there's a spacious dining room, an indoor salon and a bar. Up top, the sundeck has a Jacuzzi, and kayaks and stand-up paddleboards come out on calm afternoons. Nitrox, night dives and Wi-Fi are included, and the crew also arrange fishing trips and island visits. The guides know the classic central Maldives sites well: Manta Point for cleaning-station encounters, Rasfari Corner for grey reef sharks on the current, and the Kudhimaa wreck, which is covered in soft coral and glassfish. Most dives are drifts along channels and reef edges, so a reef hook, an SMB and some confidence in current are part of the kit list. The Maldives can be dived all year. December to April normally gives calmer seas and clearer water on the eastern side, while May to November brings plankton, and with it the big manta numbers, to the west. Felicity suits couples and groups who want a modern, well-staffed boat that keeps the focus on diving.
