Galaxy 720 is a 42-metre (138 ft) Red Sea liveaboard built in 2009 and refitted in 2021, with 12 air-conditioned, en-suite cabins for up to 24 guests. Three suites have king-size beds, including a Royal Suite on the lower deck, and the other nine cabins have twin beds. Inside, the air-conditioned salon has large windows and sofas for a morning coffee or an evening drink. Meals are served in a separate restaurant at the bow of the main deck, which keeps the lounge relaxed. Up top, the sun deck is part shaded, part open, and there's more outdoor seating around the boat. The dive deck at the stern is well laid out, with space for every diver to store kit and gear up without crowding. A tender takes divers to sites the main boat can't reach, and there's a yoga and wellness area on deck. The boat is open to Open Water divers, runs scuba courses, and can be chartered by private groups. The northern Red Sea is the obvious match for newer divers: the reefs of Ras Mohammed and the Straits of Tiran, and wrecks like the Thistlegorm. Experienced divers looking for sharks head south to the Brothers and Daedalus, which usually require Advanced Open Water and around 50 logged dives. Galaxy 720 suits mixed-level groups, divers who like a separate dining room, and full-boat charters.
