Ocean Lovers is a 45-metre steel liveaboard built in 2023, with five decks and room for 32 guests. Two of the 16 cabins are used by the dive guides, leaving 14 for guests: six twin cabins on the lower deck, four twins and two suites on the sun deck, two panorama suites, and two suites on the upper deck. All cabins are air-conditioned and en-suite. The main deck saloon has a 65-inch TV and entertainment system. There are two sun decks, one shaded and one open, plus a hot tub and a bar. Nitrox and Wi-Fi are free, and the dive deck has camera storage and DIN-compatible tanks. The boat also supports sidemount. At 13 knots, Ocean Lovers covers distance quickly, which helps on the long runs out to the southern marine parks. The Red Sea splits roughly in two. The north, around Ras Mohammed, Tiran and the wrecks of the Thistlegorm and Abu Nuhas, suits divers of most levels. The south and the offshore reefs of the Brothers, Daedalus and Elphinstone are for experienced divers who want sharks: oceanic whitetips from October to December, and hammerheads in early summer. For the offshore parks you'll usually need Advanced Open Water and around 50 logged dives. Ocean Lovers suits divers who want a new, spacious boat with good cabins, and groups who'd like a suite each.

Ocean Lovers offers enough itinerary variety that two trips on the same boat could feel completely different. The northern routes combine wrecks and established reef areas, BDE focuses on offshore sites, and the deep southern programme moves through remote coral systems and islands. The large boat, multiple relaxation areas and efficient crew made the active schedule much easier to enjoy.
Clean, organised and friendly. I would happily return for another route.
Very good boat for couples. One of us cared mainly about the dive programme, while the other valued the spacious cabin and comfortable areas between activities.
Some offshore dives required patience. We spent time watching the blue without seeing the large animal everyone hoped for, but the walls, schooling fish and reef structure still made the dives worthwhile. The guides never tried to manufacture excitement or promise sightings.
