All Star Ghani is a 42-metre (138 ft) steel liveaboard built in 2003 and fully renovated in 2025, with 12 cabins for up to 24 guests spread over four decks. Eleven suites convert between twin and double beds, and there's one master cabin. The 2025 refit means modern interiors on a boat with a proven hull. There's a large, purpose-built dive deck, two zodiacs for drop-offs, and comfortable indoor and outdoor lounges. Meals are buffet-style. Wi-Fi, laundry and a special dinner are included. Nitrox is available on board, the boat supports sidemount, and courses are offered for Open Water divers who want to move up. In the Red Sea, the northern routes from Hurghada are where most divers start. You get the reefs of Ras Mohammed and the Straits of Tiran, and some of the best wreck diving anywhere at the Thistlegorm and Abu Nuhas. The Brothers islands, two small reefs in open water, are the step up. Steep walls, strong current and oceanic whitetips and hammerheads mean you'll usually need Advanced Open Water and around 50 logged dives. The Red Sea works year-round, with water from about 22°C in winter to 29°C in summer. All Star Ghani suits divers who want a freshly renovated, mid-size boat with good value.
