Blue Lotus brings together traditional Indonesian craftsmanship and the comfort, safety, and expertise of a liveaboard dedicated exclusively to Komodo National Park, operating year-round in one of the world's most exceptional marine environments. Purpose-built for diving expeditions, the vessel draws on decades of deep regional knowledge through Azul Komodo- a PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Center, the first PADI Eco Centre in Komodo, and a Green Fins Silver certified operation - ensuring a truly specialist approach to every itinerary. Blue Lotus also actively supports local communities, sustainable tourism initiatives, and ocean conservation efforts throughout the region.Accommodating 10 to 12 guests across five cabins and three decks, Blue Lotus offers an intimate, unhurried experience on the water. Twin and triple cabins on the lower deck provide a cosy retreat, while the upper deck master suite features sweeping ocean views and a private balcony. All cabins are finished in warm teak and appointed with private en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. Above deck, indoor and outdoor lounges, a shaded sun deck, and freshly prepared meals served both indoors and al fresco complete the experience. Safety is central to every Blue Lotus expedition. The vessel carries comprehensive safety equipment and follows well-established operational procedures, with a trained and experienced crew ensuring a smooth, secure, and well-organised journey at every stage. Professional dive guides maintain a maximum ratio of one guide to four guests, and the purpose-built dive deck features dedicated equipment preparation areas, rinse stations, outdoor showers, two support tenders, and Nitrox for certified divers. Guests choose from a carefully curated selection of itineraries spanning four to eight days, exploring world-class sites including Batu Bolong, Castle Rock, Crystal Rock, and Manta Point. With up to 23 dives, night dives, island excursions, and unforgettable encounters with manta rays, sea turtles, reef sharks, and Komodo dragons, all within a UNESCO World Heritage Site - every Blue Lotus journey is as elemental and extraordinary as the destination itself.
