About the fleet

What to know about the Scubaspa Fleet

Scubaspa builds its boats as floating resorts: a large crew, a spa deck, and diving kept on a separate dhoni so the main yacht stays quiet. That makes it one of the few fleets that works equally well for divers and non-divers, and a couple can share a cabin while one dives and the other spends the week in the spa. We list three yachts: Scubaspa Yin and Scubaspa Yang in the Maldives, and Scubaspa ZEN in Indonesia.

Questions about the Scubaspa Fleet

Which Scubaspa Fleet liveaboards can I book with BookDiveBoat?

All three: Scubaspa Yin and Scubaspa Yang in the Maldives, and Scubaspa ZEN in Indonesia. Each has its own page with dates, prices and cabin types.

Can non-divers join a Scubaspa trip?

Yes. The trip price includes either the diving package or the spa package, so a non-diver can book the spa option. Snorkel gear, kayaks, paddleboards and excursions are included for everyone.

What is included in the price?

Your cabin, all meals and snacks, airport transfers, water, tea and coffee, and the diving or spa package. Alcohol is extra on all three boats. Soft drinks are extra on Yin and Yang and included at meal times on ZEN.

What extra costs should I budget for?

In the Maldives, the green tax is paid on top. On Scubaspa ZEN, park and port fees and a fuel surcharge are added. Nitrox, rental gear, extra spa treatments and gratuities are optional on every boat. The amounts are on each boat page.

What is the difference between Scubaspa Yin and Yang?

They are sister ships with the same size and layout: 50 metres, 17 cabins and up to 36 guests. Yin was built in 2013 and Yang in 2014. Choose by the departure date and route that suit you.

How many guests does each Scubaspa Fleet yacht carry?

Scubaspa Yin and Yang carry up to 36 guests each, with 26 of them divers. Scubaspa ZEN carries 20 guests.

What certification do I need?

All three boats accept Open Water divers. Tell us your logged dives and we will say honestly whether a route suits you. Our certification guide has more detail.
