What to know about the Emperor Fleet

The Emperor Fleet belongs to Emperor Divers and covers four very different destinations. In the Maldives, Emperor Voyager, Emperor Serenity, Emperor Virgo, Emperor Leo and Emperor Explorer II run Best of Maldives weeks. In Egypt, Emperor Elite, Emperor Superior and Emperor Asmaa cover the Red Sea. In Indonesia, Emperor Raja Laut and Emperor Harmoni sail Raja Ampat. Emperor Bilikiki dives the Solomon Islands.

Questions about the Emperor Fleet

Which Emperor Fleet liveaboards can I book with BookDiveBoat?

In the Maldives: Emperor Voyager, Emperor Serenity, Emperor Virgo, Emperor Leo and Emperor Explorer II. In Egypt: Emperor Elite, Emperor Superior and Emperor Asmaa. In Indonesia: Emperor Raja Laut and Emperor Harmoni. In the Solomon Islands: Emperor Bilikiki. Each has its own page with dates, prices and cabin types.

What is included in the price on an Emperor Fleet liveaboard?

Most boats include airport transfers, accommodation, full-board meals and snacks, drinking water, tea and coffee, the diving package and nitrox up to 32%. Wine with dinner is included on most boats too. Emperor Bilikiki does not list nitrox as included. The exact list for each yacht is on its boat page.

Are port, park and fuel fees included?

On the Maldives, Egypt and Indonesia boats, yes: the pages list port, park and fuel fees as included, with no required extras. Emperor Bilikiki is different, and lists port, government and reef fees as extras paid on top.

What extra costs should I budget for?

Gratuities, alcohol, rental gear and courses are optional on every boat. Soft drinks are an extra on the Maldives boats and on Emperor Bilikiki, and included on the Egypt boats. Some Maldives boats also sell Wi-Fi packages. The amounts are shown on each boat page.

What certification do I need?

No boat page states a general minimum, and all accept Open Water and Advanced divers. The Egypt offshore routes (the Brothers, Daedalus, Elphinstone, Zabargad and Rocky Island) usually need Advanced Open Water and around 50 logged dives. Tell us your logged dives and we will say honestly whether a route suits you. Our certification guide has more detail.

Which Emperor yacht is the largest?

Emperor Harmoni is the longest at 48 m, a phinisi in Indonesia. In the Maldives, Emperor Explorer II is the largest at 44 m and was built in 2026. Emperor Raja Laut is the smallest group, with 12 guests.
