What it’s actually like.

Dive sites
Twin sinkholes linked by a cavern circuit famous for light beams and limestone formations, with a bat-colony exit chamber.
Jungle-canopy cenote with two cavern lines threading through tree roots and limestone columns.
Open-air cenote surrounded by mangroves — calm, bright and welcoming for first-time cenote divers.
Known for surface lily pads and light filtering through the water; usually paired with Casa Cenote.
Mesoamerican Reef wall dives with regular turtles, eagle rays, nurse sharks and colorful reef fish.
A calmer reef day close to shore, easy conditions and plenty of reef fish.
Angelita’s hydrogen-sulphide cloud and The Pit’s halocline blur, booked as a paid afternoon add-on at 1,500 MXN per dive.
When to go
★ Peak = best visibility & marine life · Good = worth going
Cenote diving stays stable year-round in ~24–26°C fresh water. Spotted eagle rays are most reliable on Cozumel dives December–February; turtles and nurse sharks turn up on reef days all year.
Accommodation options
One property — private studios above the dive shop, with meals included on diving days per package.
Private studios steps from La Veleta’s cafes and restaurants, with a king bed or two single beds and a rooftop pool lounge on site.

What else to do
How to reach Tulum
Tulum’s own Felipe Carrillo Puerto International Airport (TQO) is the closest option, with a growing number of direct US/Canada routes. Cancún (CUN) has far more flight choices and connections from Europe.
From TQO: roughly 30–40 minutes by shuttle, taxi or rental car. From CUN: roughly 1.5–2 hours by road.
Infinity2Diving is in La Veleta, central Tulum, within walking distance of local cafes, bars and restaurants.
Before you go: Mexican tourist card (FMM) required at immigration for most nationalities · card widely accepted in Tulum, though cash is useful for local vendors and tips · standard US/Canada-style power outlets (110V) · tap water is not potable, use bottled water.
Fly into Tulum or Cancún — dive days start the morning after you land.
