The Farasan Banks are a huge area of small reefs and islands off the southern coast of Saudi Arabia. The Red Sea here is the same warm, clear water as in Egypt, but almost no other boats come. Walls drop into deep blue water, with large sea fans, black coral and sharks. You can only dive the Banks by liveaboard.
